There are two main reasons why people write essays: they don’t fear expressing their opinions and they aren’t afraid to make mistakes. Good ideas don’t come quickly. Most students don’t outline. Students are often hesitant before beginning or rush through the procedure.
Writing essays requires discipline and patience. The writing itself and not the fact that you’re writing it, is the most difficult part. If writing was an Olympic event, the first thing the spectators would notice is the writer’s pace. It is crucial to organize your ideas in a way that is logical to you prior to beginning your writing process. A five-paragraph essay could require extensive planning in order to write properly however, a five-paragraph essay may also require extensive planning to write correctly, especially if you have limited time and/or a large project in hand.
“Why should one compose essays?” I hear you cry. I’m here to say that anyone, even those who barely are considered writers, can write essays. Professionals, students, home-makers and professors all have the ability to write. A stimulating and thought-provoking essay can be written by anyone.
What kinds of essays could make a difference? There are two kinds of essays that are categorized as argumentative and essay essay writing. Essays are writing pieces that present an argument. An argumentative essay is an argumentative essay that draws on personal experience to back up an argument. Here’s an illustration of an argumentative essay:
(A) A test engineer was hired by a car maker. He had no formal training and his employers were impressed with his mechanical skills, offered him the position. His boss was who was an expert in aeronautical engineering dismissed him two weeks later while conducting an inspection of a prototype for their new jet aircraft model. Indignant, the man returned to his office and began talking about his dismissal. His colleagues, who happened to be sitting in the next room, heard him and requested him to stop his rant to allow them to conversation with the man.
(B) When you write expository essays, the goal is to convince the reader that your view is right. One method to achieve this is to create your personal “personal brand.” By adopting a stance or personal brand that serves to justify your position and to provide a reason for your position, you can “brand” your arguments and present your work in a way that more closely resembles the style of professional journalists such as correspondents or opinionators as opposed to the style of writing used by the high school student who is writing the composition report. This technique is especially useful in the case of an expository piece, since it makes it much easier to identify the audience and structure your essay in line with the audience.
(C) A popular technique in writing film essays is to contrast and compare. For instance, two films that have distinct themes (department store essay on teen pregnancy clerk vs.vampires) typically have a lot of similarities in their structure and plot elements, while two films with distinct themes (department store clerk vs.vampire serial killer) will often have large differences in their tone and style, yet there are many similarities. Take, for example two examples: An academic writing assignment on American social policies will typically discuss a major controversy about a relatively trivial issue like whether capital punishment is unfair and/or cruel. Film essays on the subject of a major Hollywood crime will be focused on the secrets revealed by the characters and the way they impact society.(In both cases the main argument of the writer will be that certain social policies are unjust.) Similar arguments can be made in almost every aspect of human life.
(D) Argumentative essay typically require a strong argument that is highly descriptive to distinguish themselves from other written work on the same topic. Essays on virtually any topic can be written using this method and the ability to write an argumentative essay relies heavily on knowing how and why to utilize language that goes beyond a simple repetition of facts. Students learn from essays written by other students and utilize them as models for their own writing. Your essay must at least incorporate a portion of an argumentative framework.
